BroadStar Community Choice
Our business is built around a principle called Community Choice. Residents are encouraged to create the cable, phone, broadband and home security packages that are right for them. Homeowners associations are empowered to build cable packages at pricepoints they want, getting channels that match community interests at rates unmatched by larger carriers.

BroadStar hosts regular Community Choice meetings in each of our neighborhoods. It’s our way to get to know community members. We listen to feedback and collect ideas to better our products and services. We also review package contents and rates to ensure continuous resident satisfaction.

Community Choice extends to all of our services, from cable to security, phone and broadband. A recent Community Choice meeting in one of our neighborhoods led to the creation of SafeNet, a family-friendly Internet package. You probably know about blocking channels and programs using a code you can set with your remote control. SafeNet does the same thing with our Internet service to help protect children from inappropriate content. We’re working on more ideas like this every day- it’s our passion to use technology to make your neighborhood a better place to live. BroadStar Community Intranets and Portals
BroadStar believes in building community through technology. Our secure Community Web Portals keep residents connected with their friends, neighbors and the areas around their community. Residents can create message boards, classified ads, share documents and photos, and add important events to the Community Calendar. The Community Web Portal also offers exclusive resident-only specials from local stores and businesses.

BroadStar Community Television
Each BroadStar community receives a dedicated television channel. This channel features community-specific announcements and alerts as well as resident-generated shows and content. BroadStar can even set up a mini-studio for residents to create their own telecast content.

BroadStar Neighborhood Wifi
Want to surf the web poolside, work in the park for the day or bring your laptop to a friend's house for a gaming tournament? BroadStar-connected communities are all equipped with wi-fi hotspots in neighborhood common areas. It's our way of bringing your public space to life.

BroadStar Safety
Our CommunityView system of video surveillance around the neighborhood ensures the safety of community members. Live time images of areas in the community are available on television channels or secure web access for resident viewing. And unlike other security monitoring providers, our SafeHome Security Monitoring system doesn't always require in-home phone service.
