Jamie Ferro
Founder and President
Jamie is responsible for BroadStar's strategic vision and leads business development, partner relations, and finance activities.
His focus on serving the needs of developers and their residents is the cornerstone to BroadStar's business. Prior to founding BroadStar in
2004, Jamie actively developed residential communities in NC, SC, FL, MI and KS. His day-to-day experience ranged from land acquisition,
finance, zoning, and land development to construction, home and property sales. Jamie has been an active technology and real estate investor
for over 15 years, he managed venture capital investments for Preston Capital Corporation and had a successful management career as
Vice President of Franklin Industries Inc.; President of KMG Minerals; and President of Kings Mountain Brick. Jamie is a member of the
Fiber-To-The-Home Council where his serves on the Government Relations and Fiber Community committees. He is active with the National
Association of Home Builders at the national and local level and participates in several trade organizations. Jamie serves on the board of
two small companies, supports several entrepreneurial organizations, and participates in Habitat for Humanity. Jamie is a graduate of Duke
University and received his Masters degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
